When the idea of college students having their own student credit cards came out, it reaped a lot of critics more than followers. Currently, surveys revealed that when students reach their sophomore years, 92% of them already have at least one credit card. However, many are still saying that if students already have credit cards early in their lives, they will only be drowning in debt even before they graduate. In truth, there is nothing wrong about students having their own credit card. At the end of the day, it is not about the type of student credit card they have, but how they used it. Responsible students can surely make the most out of their credit cards. Also, keep in mind that credit cards for students also have low credit limits to control pointless spending habits.
